About Friedman Event Center

Welcome to Friedman Event Center, where Santa Rosa comes together to celebrate life’s biggest moments. From weddings and fundraisers to concerts and company parties, our venue was designed for connection, joy, and community.

Our story starts with Benny Friedman, a local legend who built success the old-fashioned way, with hard work, heart, and a passion for helping others. After serving in World War II, Benny and his brothers turned a small salvage business into the well-known Friedman’s Home Improvement.

But Benny’s real gift was giving back.

In 1990, he and his family founded Friedman Event Center as a gift to the community, an event space in Santa Rosa for people to gather and celebrate together. Today, that same spirit still fills every event we host.

Our space is as flexible as your imagination. The 6,500 sq. ft. ballroom is perfect for large celebrations, while the landscaped outdoor patio offers a peaceful spot for mingling under the Sonoma sky
